One of our favorite home improvement and remodelling sites, This Old House, is hosting a Halloween contest and we figured we’d help promote it out of respect for The Vila.
Put down the woodworking and pick up a pumpkin, because it’s the 2nd Annual Halloween Pumpkin-Carving Contest! Grab your drills, knives and branders (?) and let the creativity (and pumpkin innards) flow.
Jack O’Lantern designs can be anything you want as long as they’re original. We’re thinking zombie handyman but maybe you’d be into something more classic like a spooky face or something kooky like a portrait of Gary Busey (which, I guess, is … also a spooky face).
Grand prize is a $200 Home Depot gift card. Second place is a Zombie Pumpkins Pro Pumpkin Carving Tool Set and a “Monster Harvest” membership for Zombiepumpkins.com (with unlimited access to carving patterns) and third place is a Me On A Pumpkin v2.0 Stencil Software.
