Mix, Carry & Pour Cement In A CreteSheet

You know what reminds me of Jamaica? Handling cement work!

Well, no, not really – but this video from CreteSheet does get one into the spirit of the island, mon.

What is the CreteSheet? The CreteSheet is a fourteen-ounce polyethylene sheet with handles on the corners. Simply dump the concrete in the center, add water (slowly) and lift the corners of the sheet to stir the mixture up. With a bit of help, you can carry the sheet and pour its contents as needed. No wheelbarrow, bucket or cement-crusted shovels.

The CreteSheet is best used for projects involving a single 80 lbs. bag of concrete or jobs that need one to two cubic yards or less of concrete. Should you have a few projects to the bone, the sheet can simply be hosed off and the project start anew.

You don’t need to take our word for it, though. The CreteSheet was one of Popular Mechanic’s Editor’s Pick, and you can bet they’ve seen their share of sheet.

The CreteSheet
is available for $19.95, but if you plan to buy three or more, contact the makers directly and they might swing you a deal.
