Home Depot Coupons & Promo Codes for HomeDepot.com
My favorite way to stay up to speed with local and online discounts is by subscribing to Home Depot’s email newsletter. These weekly updates often include Home Depot coupons, promo codes and coupon codes. And since they’re emailed straight to you, you don’t need to scour the dark corners of the Internet to find resources like our site. The Home Depot deals just get emailed right to you. Local In-Store Discounts
Deals can vary from region to region and even store to store. Finding the latest deals for your particular Home Depot store is a breeze. Simply visit HomeDepot.com, and in the upper right of the page (above the main content), you’ll see an orange text link that says, “Local Ad.” That will take you to a page with a virtual weekly special “flyer.” I like clicking the “Single View” option, which then makes the content much more readable. You’ll find special deals, seasonal content, lower price notifications, exclusive offers, new products, tool information and more. These local ads often have 20-plus pages of content, usually organized into sections for plumbing, electrical, gardening, appliances, tools, flooring, etc. Home Depot’s local ads are a great way to see what’s hot at your local Home Depot, before you venture out to the store. 10 Percent Off Discount for US Military
According to a post from Home Depot on their Facebook page, Home Depot offers “a year-round, 10 percent discount, up to a $500 maximum, at [their] U.S. stores to all active duty military personnel, reservists, retired or disabled veterans and their immediate families.” Since you’ll likely need to flash your ID badge (or provide proof that you’re not just someone with neatly trimmed hair looking for a military discount), this discount isn’t valid online. You’ll need to march right into the store in person. If you’re sporting a flat-top, fatigues, and a desert tan, who knows, maybe they’ll let you slide without an ID check. Saluting the cashier might help too.

Weekly Specials
Check out the Home Depot ads on this exact page for absolutely up to date deals and promotions, automatically updated weekly by the web wizardry of Home Depot. You’ll find discounts, coupon codes and promo codes for everything from seasonal specials to lighting. Bookmark this page and you’ll always be in the know.

General Tips for Home Depot Savings
In the upper right of HomeDepot.com you’ll find a tab titled “Savings.” Roll-over that with your mouse and you’ll see several options, one of which is “Savings Center.” Here’s where you’ll find savings by department, and clicking “current promotions” will bring you up to speed on what deals and coupons are available at HD. At the time I visited, I found a 10 percent off Energy Star appliances offer, up to 70 percent off discounted lighting, and free shipping on select patio sets. This a great way to find killer deals (both online and in-store) on overstock, special buys, etc. Guaranteed Low Prices…Now Even Lower. Save with great deals only at homedepot.com

Home Depot 10 Percent Off Moving Coupon
Not all that long ago, you could stroll into any post office and pick up one of their “moving kits” which almost always had a Home Depot or Lowes 10% off coupon inside, ready to use immediately. I think a lot of people defined “moving” as the process of walking in and out of the post office. These days, that still sometimes works, but rarely so. For Home Depot Coupons, you’re better off visiting HomeDepotMoving.com, where you’ll be able to sign-up and then receive a Home Depot 10% off coupon. Basic ethics would suggest you only do this if you’re actually moving, but we’re not your mommy. Of course, if HomeDepot wanted everyone to have these, they’d probably still all be available at the post office.

eBay Home Depot Coupons and Promo Codes
A quick search of “Home Depot Coupons” on eBay typically yields a long list. Pricing often starts at about $1/coupon and goes up from there. Our only words of wisdom here are “Caveat emptor”, or “Let the buyer beware” for you non-Latin types. You might get a functional coupon or Home Depot promo code, or, you might get scammed. Either way, we’re pretty sure you’ll be violating the terms of the coupon or promo, since most retailers specifically prohibit sales of their coupons. Same deal with other sites like Craigslist.

How Not To Get Discounts In-Store

For actual Home Depot produced videos, be sure to check out Home Depot’s YouTube Channel. The Home Depot Twitter account also is a good resource for occasional deals, info and promotions. It’s also a great way to interact with the company if want to touch base publicly.

Deferred Billing With Home Depot Credit Card
We’re mentioning this option not because we advocate going into massive credit card debt so you can have shiny countertops, but rather, to present all the options for making Home Depot shopping work with your budget. Clicking on “Credit Center” in the lower right of HomeDepot.com will take you to current information on their credit promotions. Currently, they’re offering no interest on $299+ purchases if paid in full within six months. Credit requirements and conditions apply, so be sure you check out their current offerings and the fine print before you dive in to racking up your new Home Depot credit card. Interest rates were quoted at between 17.99 to 26.99% when we looked, so “Don’t Buy Stuff You Can’t Afford.” Seriously.

Save on select top-rated patio sets. Online Only.

Home Depot Low Price Guarantee
Home Depot is pretty committed to having low prices. So much so, they’ll beat competitors’ prices. According to the Home Depot website:

NOBODY BEATS OUR PRICES
If any competitor tries, we’ll beat their price by 10%. Guaranteed. If you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any retailer, we will match the price and beat it by 10%. Excludes special orders, bid pricing, volume discounts, open-box merchandise, labor and installation, sales tax, rebate and free offers, typographical errors and online purchases.

We’ll be staying on top of Home Depots coupons, promo codes and ways to save like a meerkat stands on his dirt mound. Never seen a meerkat? Basically, we’re just saying bookmark this page and check back periodically and you’ll have your finger on the pulse of Home Depot deals and promos. And don’t forget to scroll down to the comments selection below, where we’ll regularly be posting time-sensitive home depot coupon codes and deals.

Up to 60% off bath and plumbing products with prom
As much as we’d like to think we have every angle covered, there are a lot of different ways to score great deals at Home Depot. If you’ve had particular success (or failure) with any particular approach, whether it’s mentioned here or not, please share with the HomeFixated community via the comments below. In the meantime, happy Home Depot deal hunting! Purchase the perfect gift a $200 Gift Card at homedepot.com

In grade school (give or take a few years), Marc's mom said, "We need to cut down some trees. . . . here's a chainsaw." A father figure also involved Marc in many home improvement projects, including a summer of home remodeling in Palo Alto, CA. Toss in some Obsessive Compulsive personality traits researching everything home improvement related. The end result: a genetically pre-disposed, socially sculpted home improvement machine! 1. The ones I got about 3 months ago were for 15%. And I got 2, one mailed to my original address and one to the new address. Along with Bestbuy , Target and other Qs.

  3. While they *do* accept competitors’ coupons, some managers might not consider HF a competitor. Also, due to fraudulent coupons, the stores in my area will only accepted mailed-coupons. I suppose magazine clip-outs is okay, but they absolutely will not accept any emailed or printed coupons anymore. It may be worth a try, but YMMV.

  4. I’ve had particular difficulty with the price match guarantee in the past on a few occasions. Trying to price match from the website? Good luck. They’ll say “sorry, HomeDepot.com is run separately so we cannot honor those prices.” But then they’ll say “HomeDepot.com is not a competitor.”

I’ve even had difficulty trying to get them to price match a printed Lowes flyer once. These days I just avoid price matches entirely to avoid the hassle.

  5. Not sure if they’re still doing it but when I actually moved, Home Depot and Lowes both sent me coupons in the mail congratulating me on taking on a really big home loan that I probably should’ve put more thought into and urging me to spend money I haven’t made yet at their stores.

  6. You’re right about signing up for the reminders from Home Depot. They are great for sales items and the “Oh I need one of those” products. Well worth the couple minutes.
