wireless-door-chime-honeywellIf your current doorbell is more dud than ding, Honeywell’s Portable Wireless Door Chime (the RCWL330A1000/N P4-Premium, to be exact) is the product to buy. I have to admit, it’s pretty sweet. First, install is easy – you mount the push-button bell without worrying about wires – the sloth in me is already rejoicing. It even works well for those with aluminum siding – a major issue for those who have tried portable wireless doorbells before. Second, the portable wireless door chime let’s you take the speaker part with you throughout your home. You can hug it and squeeze it and name it George, if you so choose. With its 450 ft. range, you can bring the door chime to other areas of the house, the garage or even to your backyard and never miss anyone at your door (you are, of course, still free to ignore people. Let’s not get crazy!). Third, the Honeywell RCWL330A boasts that with it, you can select a “chime tune that better fits your individual style.” Unfortunately for me, Kelis’ “Milkshake” is not available, but monarchists will be pleased to know “Westminster” is yours for the ringing. Fourth, additional accessories can be purchased to work in concert with the doorbell such as wireless door contacts (notifies you when doors get opened) and motion detectors. Catching sneaky teens, spouses and clever bears has never been easier! And fifth, the volume can be turned up, down or even off – perfect if you’re really hung over you have a napping child at home. Get your Honeywell RCWL330A1000/N P4-Premium Portable Wireless Door Chime and Push Button at Amazon for $41.99.
