The handles didn't last long but the claws themselves did... Chris, your idea is good except for the price of these makes it a waste of time... just get 'em and get on with it. I bet I could make some out of plastic garbage bin lids. Maybe use a bungee or some type of strapping to hold them to my hands. Hmmmn....May be a spring cleanup project.
