Don’t Get Dirty!

duluthcoverallAfter one or two crawls through our crawl space I realized I was in desperate need of some coveralls. My first step was to get a white tyvek coverall suit from Home Depot. This solution made me look like the Stay Puff Marshmallow-man in Ghostbusters.

In combination with my respirator, I frightened a number of neighbors who thought there might have been some sort of nuclear incident in our yard. Just so you don’t think I’m totally vain (just moderately vain), the Tyvek suit also began to disintigrate after a couple uses. My next step was to order some serious coveralls from Duluth Trading. Not only do these look sweet (I’m sure I’d pick up lots of fighter pilot groupies if I ever left the house), but they are infinitely practical and well made. Lots of great pockets and very comfortable. Plus they keep out lots of dirt, spiders, and creepy-crawlies.
Check them out on Duluth’s website.

About Marc Lyman

Marc grew up under a brave single mom who "encouraged" home improvement on the family home. Early toddler gifts included a tool set, and even a cordless Bosch drill when cordless drills first came out. In grade school (give or take a few years), Marc's mom said, "We need to cut down some trees. . . . here's a chainsaw." A father figure also involved Marc in many home improvement projects, including a summer of home remodeling in Palo Alto, CA. Toss in some Obsessive Compulsive personality traits researching everything home improvement related. The end result: a genetically pre-disposed, socially sculpted home improvement machine!
