Minka_Lavery_Mini_ChandelierAlright gentlemen (and some ladies) – you’ve surely looked at the picture to the left, sneered and are about to hit that “Back” button with great haste (“That’s not a tool! That’s a frilly girly fluffy thing. That ain’t what this site is for. Hrrrmph.”). Well, hold on just a minute!

If there’s a daddy’s girl in your life, shrug off any thoughts that dealing with her room is strictly a mom job – thanks to the plethora of great online retailers, anyone can pull together a charming look for their kids and become their personal hero.

For example, friends of ours recently transitioned their toddler into a “big girl” room – and I have to admit I’m jealous – of the child.

Her room is ridiculously adorable and as I discovered, it was largely put together by her father. Sure, mom had a hand in picking some of the colors, but dad actually sourced a great deal of the décor including THE piece that makes the room – a sweet mini chandelier. Who knew he had such good taste? And his daughter? THRILLED. Now he’s the one that has her wrapped around his finger.

A very similar chandelier to theirs is the Minka Lavery Mini Chandelier from LightingCatalog.com. Standing 21” tall and 14.5” wide, this little luminary requires just one 60-Watt bulb to provide ambient light for a room. Its white paint and glass-look design give it a shabby-chicness without looking too shabby at all. Our friends positioned the light over their daughter’s little tea table, but you could have it hanging over a bed or a cozy reading chair in the corner.

LightingCatalog.com has the Minka Lavery Mini Chandelier for $103. Your daughter’s shriek of joy when she sees it? Priceless.
