red_devil_create_a_color_caulk_systemI’m going to try not to make crude double entendres about the word “caulk” in this blog post, but it’s so, so hard (eee) not to. When researching this product, I even found a few reviews for the Red Devil Create a Color Caulk System that included giggle-worthy quotes like “Finally, I can get the caulk that’s right for me!” and “For those of us who are tired of the typical white caulk, I’m glad we have now have options. The black caulk in my shower is FABULOUS.”

BITING TONGUE.

So, what am I talking about? Red Devil has released a lovely system called the Create a Color Caulk System. Basically, it allows you to mix their neutral caulk with a latex paint of your choice. Customized color options are now yours! Available for purchase separately, the system requires a specially formulated Red Devil Create A Color Caulk Cartridge for $7.96 on Amazon), a syringe for the latex paint (a 25 Syringes for $27.33 but you can likely find cheaper options if needed) and the Red Devil 4070 Create A Color Caulk Mixer ($27.54). The system all works together quite well to create a consistent, custom color that you can use on floors, back splashes and bathroom tile. Red Devil’s product is mildew-resistant and cures to an ultra-smooth, satin finish.

Red Devil also offers bulk sales for contractors and people with really big caulk needs. A case of 12 complete kits sell for $75.
