Sometimes when I’m in the middle of a tedious labor-based project I lose my mind a little. If it’s been a long day, I’ll get up to grab the tool I need and immediately forget what I was looking for the instant I open up my tool box. Then I wander back to the scene of the crime, stare blankly at my project and then finally realize what I set out to get.
That’s normal right? (Please say yes.)
Heh. Well, even if it isn’t, I’m sure I’m not the only one out there who appreciates a multi-purpose tool that reduces the amount of time you spend finding (err, forgetting?) the next device you need to finish the job. The Multi-Purpose Gardening Knife may look simple, but it handles a surprising number of tasks and can be a real time saver.
The Multi-Purpose Gardening Knife (sometimes referred to as the Weeding Knife) has both a sharp edge and a serrated edge (great for opening bags of soil, hacking little roots, getting a nice deep dig into the ground), a trowel shape, a nip on the end ideal for attacking weeds and a depth gauge that is great when planting bulbs. You could do a heck of a lot of projects in the garden without having to reach for anything else (beer excluded, naturally).
The Multi-Purpose Gardening Knife is available for about $23 at Gardener’s Supply Company.
