Having multiple personalities can be awesome, at least when it comes to covering trade shows and media events. When I’m not able to haul myself across country for a show, it’s always nice to know some other colorful personality from another tool blog or media outlet will have things covered. Since I wasn’t able to make it from San Diego to Rhode Island for the 2011 JLC LIVE, I was happy to see Doug from ToolSnob not only went, but provided a nice wrap-up of some of the highlights.

JLC LIVE New England offers a four-day, educational conference program featuring over 50 unique sessions covering a full range of topics, from business to construction techniques, in a classroom style setting. Conference instructors are industry leaders and experienced both in the field and in the classroom. They offer useful and practical information that can be implemented immediately on return to the office/field from the show.
So what were some of the cool things Doug turned up at the show? We’ll leave you to discover those on his full article linked below. However, as a tease, I’ll mention Doug liked the Carvex jig saw from our friends at Festool (don’t miss Doug’s disco strobe light and Zombie Cult mentions), Starrett’s many tool and accessory offerings, Bosch’s new corded oscillating tool (review and giveaway coming in the not too distant future on HomeFixated), and Stabila’s brutal dismemberment of their competitors levels (and their own). All in all, it sounds like a great time and we’re sorry we missed it.
