JET – Powermatic Media Event
Step into many woodworking shops throughout the country, and chances are, you’re going to see JET and Powermatic tools. They’re synonymous with the craft of woodworking. This week, we’re attending a JET – Powermatic media event held at Fort Houston, in Nashville, TN. Fort Houston is one of many “maker” facilities that give creative types access to tools, equipment and training that would be tough to find without a shared space. Fort Houston offers classes in everything from Mortise and Tenon Joinery to “The Joy of Mopeding – Moped Science 101.” No, we didn’t make that up. If you’re into woodworking (or mopeds) and happen to live in the Nashville area, check out the Fort Houston classes. Beyond checking out Fort Houston, we’re excited to see what tools JET and Powermatic have to share, including the new Powermatic PM1000 table saw! Read More
