Every month we try to provide you with at least one interesting bathroom idea because, well, we all spend a fair amount of time in there, don’t we? It might as well be an interesting place.
While the toilet tends to get most of our attentions, we thought the shower could use a little love – specifically, the thing that covers it – the shower curtain. We found a shop on Etsy that puts a creative idea to work in a number of interesting ways.
Custom Shower Curtains creates hand-painted shower curtains, the majority of which are clever silhouettes. Designs range from animals like deer and birds to “sexy” girlie images to humorous takes on art (like the The Thinker, but on the can). Each shower curtain is made to the standard 71×71″ (although custom sizes are available) and produced with professional quality fabric paint on super-soft 100% polyester fabric. The curtains are treated to be both waterproof and mildew-resistant. Standard perforations are at the top to hang the shower curtain with your own hooks. While black paint on white creates the silhouette effect, other colors are available for both the curtain base or the graphic.
Go classy, go trashy – the bathroom is a place that’s really seen it all – so go for it!
