Cobraco Lawn EdgingFew things make an anal retentive like me more happy than products that constrict, control and keep order. Lawns and yards can be so unruly, I try to exert control over them periodically . . . usually only to be outdone by dandelions, leaves and aphids. Recently I purchased some rolls of edging material made by Cobraco Manufacturing (I would link to them, but their site appears to be down). Unlike some competing products, it appears some clever engineering went into this product. The top is a black tube with a fin that gets buried in the ground. The fin has a “V” at the bottom to help keep it in place. I cut a nice curve into part of our lawn using a shovel and then added the edging. The result; a professional looking lawn and garden. A small victory over yard disorder!
Cobraco Edging is available for about $15 for 20 feet at an intriguing store in business since 1914; Stone Brothers.

About Marc Lyman

Marc grew up under a brave single mom who "encouraged" home improvement on the family home. Early toddler gifts included a tool set, and even a cordless Bosch drill when cordless drills first came out. In grade school (give or take a few years), Marc's mom said, "We need to cut down some trees. . . . here's a chainsaw." A father figure also involved Marc in many home improvement projects, including a summer of home remodeling in Palo Alto, CA. Toss in some Obsessive Compulsive personality traits researching everything home improvement related. The end result: a genetically pre-disposed, socially sculpted home improvement machine! 1. Several years ago we bought some Cobraco Lawn Edging from our local Costco in England. This product is not available here these days. Is it possible to get three rolls of this item. I accept the shipping would be expensive and I would have to pay import duty my end.
If you are unable to help could you please give me the address or email of Cobra Co.
I look forward to hearing from you.
