Say no more. OK – silliness aside, stairporn.org’s gallery of staircase designs is impressive. Crazy impressive.

I have to admit that I never really “thought” about stairs much. Having lived in a condo for so long, stairs weren’t really a big part of my home ownership experience. But now I have a house. With levels! And doing something special, decor-wise, with the stairs was never really on my list of things to improve about the house in a creative way. Thanks to Stair Porn, I’ve come to realize stairs can be architectural and artistic masterpieces. That float. And light up when you step on them. And wrap around an aquarium.
