I almost didn’t bother to write about the Lawn Stryper because I hate its name. I’m simply not a fan of replacing “i’s” with “y’s” when it’s completely unnecessary to do so. It’s such a pet peeve of mine that despite everything in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure that is eye roll-worthy, the thing I find most obnoxious about the film is that they named their band “WYLD STALLYNS.” That is how much I loathe the unnecessary “y.”
But I figured that shouldn’t be your problem, so here it is – the Lawn Stryper.

When I first laid eyes on the Neuton electric mower, I couldn’t help but think that it looked like a mini Batmobile if Kermit the Frog was the Dark Knight. It does, doesn’t it? Plus, if you happen to know your Muppet trivia, you’ll know that Kermit had a nephew named Robin. How perfect is that? What’s not so perfect is trying to picture ol’ Kermie talking in that lame husky voice and punching people out – but the main point was really about the Green Batmobile, so let’s stick to that.
