Win a New DeWalt 20V Max Spotlight (DCL043), with 20V Max Battery & Charger!

Avoid electrocuting yourself while working in the dark. The DeWalt DCL043 creates a light and much safer work environment.

Avoid electrocuting yourself while working in the dark. The DeWalt DCL043 creates a light and much safer work environment. You’re not a ninja, are you?

It’s late. It’s dark. Your crew is huddled around your friend’s work truck, trying to find the keys he just dropped. The last thing you want to do at this moment is pull out your iPhone and turn on the flashlight feature. Would that work? Of course it would. But why illuminate the darkness with a feeble, tiny, singular LED, when instead you can brandish a 20V Max Spotlight that’s so bright it might actually melt the snow it’s aimed at? Please note, the DeWalt 20V Max Spotlight is not intended for snow melting.

Or, maybe you’re on some top secret mission that involves a HALO jump over a competitor’s work site? The last thing you want to do before jumping out of that aircraft is ruin your night vision. Thankfully, DeWalt integrated a single bright Red LED designed to preserve night vision. That way, you can map your escape route, and still navigate perilous terrain without having been blinded by the standard white LED’s.

The DCL043 cordless spotlight from DeWalt offers 2 brightness settings (one setting that’s eyeball-meltingly bright, one that’s not quite as eyeball-meltingly bright), with a corresponding run time of 4 – 13.5 hours according to DeWalt. If you need more exact brightness descriptions, those translate to 1000 or 90 lumens.

DCL043 Spotlight

This worker swore he saw a spider up there. Too bad the spider melted from the intense light the DCL043 cranks out.

A few spec’s from DeWalt:

  • 90 Degree Pivoting Head provides versatility for lighting work surfaces.
  • Distance – Can be seen up to 508 yards or 1,525 feet.
  • Pivoting head allows for hands-free operation and light to be projected in multiple directions while standing on its base.
  • Belt hook to provide increased versatility for transportation and a hands free use in multiple placements.
  • Over-molded lens cover provides increased durability and a non-marring surface for the jobsite.
  • Tool Weight – 1.42lbs

Bottom line – you want this cordless spotlight because with it you might save the world, or you’ll at least illuminate some dark, spooky area of your job site. One lucky winner will receive not only the DeWalt DCL043 20V Max Spotlight, but also a 20V Max battery and charger, just in case you’re not already geared up in yellow and black. Including the battery and charger, you’re looking at well over $100 in prize value (the spotlight sold tool-only retails around $90).

Your subscription and/or comment(s) must be made during the month of the giveaway. Free Stuff from HomeFixated may be brand new, used for HomeFixated.com reviews, or completely abused junk (mostly the first two). All Free Stuff prizes are provided strictly as-is. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries (usually slightly less than one billion). If you’re lucky enough to have won in the last 3 months, we probably won’t let you win again (we’re all about sharing the love). Winners are chosen on or around the last day of the month (check your spam filter!), you’ll only have a couple days to respond before we select a runner-up, at which point you’re SOL if you haven’t given us your info.
